Comfort 302 Top

Ventilation requirement of up to 345 m3/h.

The Comfort 302 Top is an energy efficient ventilation unit, offering heat recovery for homes and smaller commercial buildings with ventilation requirements of up to 345 m3/h.

This unit has evolved continually over the past 40 years and is today optimized for low energy consumption as well as easy user operation and maintenance.

Comfort 302 Top is a system with compact dimensions, fitting into standard cabinets (60 cm).

Comfort 302 Top can also be ordered with a build-in pre-heater for frost-protection.

The Comfort 302 Top is factory tested and ready for use. Installation and commissioning must be performed by an authorized electrician.

Fire suppression system

Can be supplied with an integral fire suppression system, for use in apartment blocks with a common discharge air duct and possibly common outdoor air duct.

Project model

Can be supplied with all connectors leading from the housing. This solution makes it easier to connect external components, such as range hood, damper and Modbus.

User selection/Range hood solution

It is also possible to activate user selection mode (Step 4) via a potential-free contact. The set includes a cable with two RJ12 connectors.
Connect the connector at the unit and connect the control panel and the 10 m of cable, for example, to a range hood, ind the two-connectionbox.

User selection/range hood-damper solution

It is also possible to activate user selection mode (Step 4) via a potential-free contact.
The set includes an RJ12 cable, a connection box for the range hood, damper connections as well as a 230V main supply plug.

Electrical pre-heating element (Frost protection)

An electrical pre-heating element heats up the outdoor air before it enters the unit. This avoids having to defrost the unit, resulting in a loss of power.

There are temperature sensors supplied to be fitted in the ducts.

Water heating element incl. regulation (duct mounted)

The supply temperature can always be raised to the required level using a water heating element. The water heating element is designed to be built into the duct and must be connected to the primary heating supply. Supplied with two-way adjustment valve, temperature sensor and frost thermostat.

Electrical heating surface incl. regulation

When you fit an electrical heating surface, you can raise the fresh air temperature to the desired level at any time. The electrical heating surface is supplied ready to fit into the fresh air duct and, for easy fitting, the device is pre-fitted with all the required sensors.

DBTU damper

If there is not enough space to fit an EM-box, Nilan offers a DTBU damper, which can be fitted between kitchen and bathroom. The damper functions precisely like the EM-box but requires longer cables.

Pollen filter F7

A pollen filter class F7 can be fitted in the unit. The pollen filter is fitted with the G4 plate filter.

Water trap

The water trap makes sure that condensate water runs freely from the unit.

Vibration absorber

The vibration absorbers ensure that noise is not transferred from the unit to the building elements.

Noise-attenuating flexible hose

For easy fitting and excellent noise attenuation between the system and the distribution box and/or between the system and roof vents.

CO2-sensor

With a CO2-sensor installed, the ventilation speed can be pre-programmed with CTS 602 to run at a higher ventilation steps when CO2 reaches high level in the extract air. CO2-level is programmable.

CTS150 control unit

The CTS150 control unit is a simple control unit used to control the 252 Top system. It offers the user only limited access to settings.

Users can adjust the air volume and humidity levels.

The control unit also shows whether the system is working and when an alarm is triggered.

To set and regulate the system, it has to be connected to a PC via a USB flash drive. Download the software from NilanNet and install. The software can be used not only to set the system, but also to read operating data.

CTS602 control panel

Comfort 252 Top is operated with a display control panel or adjustable control panel.

CTS602 control panel
The CTS602 display control panel offers a wide range of different functions, including menu-controlled operation, weekly program settings, timer-controlled filter flow meter, fan speed adjustment, summer bypass (free cooling), heating coil control, error messages, etc.

The CTS602 factory settings are default settings that can be adapted to the operational requirements, in order to achieve optimum operation and use of the system.

Basic adjustable control panel
The CTS602 adjustable control panel only allows fan speed adjustment at four different levels.

However, it is possible to adjust settings and view error messages with a Comfort CT150 Service Panel.
